The Lagond Contemporary Music Summer Immersion Workshop, one of our summer camp programs, will give you the opportunity to do all that and more. For three weeks this summer, you will take classes and choose workshops that span contemporary music genres - pop, rock, jazz R&B, hip hop, and more. You'll receive instruction in Improvisation, Groove and Rhythm, How to Build a Repertoire, Performance Techniques, Ensemble Playing, and Endurance Training. We'll cover Music Theory and Ear Training, Song Analysis, Recording Technology and the latest musical gear.
Application Deadline: Interested students should apply as early as possible, as enrollment will be limited to 20 students. A live audition is required for admission.
Tuition: $2,900
Tuition includes prepared, healthy lunches daily, and physical fitness classes.
Financial aid is available for qualified students.
