Addy Kaegi (Performance)

Adriana Kaegi teaches young musicians/singers to become performers at Lagond Music School. In the 1980’s she co-founded the dynamic band, Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Her contributions helped earn the band the British Music Award for best international live act and 40 years later the group is still using her choreography today.  Highlights of their many world tours include a UK benefit hosted by Lady Di; the UN 40th anniversary; the inauguration of President Bush; a Carnegie Hall performance with the legendary Cab Calloway; TV performances such as Saturday Night Live and Johnny Carson; the movie Against All Odds; and most recently, the award-winning docudrama, Downtown 81, featuring the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.  After leaving the band, Adriana worked with Vanessa Paradis  (Lenny Kravitz production) Brook Shields, Boomerang (Atlantic Records) and many TV commercials and music videos.
