Production and Engineering

Gavin Maguda is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and audio engineer based in Westchester, NY. Growing up in Rochester, NY, he spent his adolescence studying various musical instruments including piano, guitar, bass, drums and saxophone as he performed with various groups in the area. He then attended SUNY Purchase in the Studio Production program where her graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2023.

In his personal music career, Gavin has committed to releasing music every Friday the 13th, a tradition he started in 2019. This consistency has allowed his catalogue to balloon to over 70 songs and 14 projects in just seven years. With some minor exceptions, he does all of the writing, performing, recording, mixing and mastering for all of his music which can be heard on any major music streaming platform.

In his professional career, Gavin works regularly as a recording/mixing engineer and as a live sound engineer at various music venues and festivals around Westchester and the greater tri-state area. He also has been a private lesson instructor for seven years with experience teaching piano, guitar, saxophone, and music production.

His lesson fee schedule is based upon the lesson length of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and ranges from $60-$100.
