Join Forces with Lagond Music:

Empowering Musicians with Disabilities.

Dear Cats and Colleagues:

I co-founded Lagond Music School 22 years ago with my wife, Rosanne, with the mission of elevating music education and performance in Westchester, NY. Since 2002, we have helped students secure over $2.75 million annually in music merit scholarships.

We have also provided a space for local musicians to rehearse, record, and perform. Our passion has always been to support musicians of all ages and abilities.

Now, we are focusing on breaking barriers for differently-abled musicians. Despite their talent, they often face challenges in performing and participating in the industry. Our Power Through Performance (PTP) initiative aims to dismantle these barriers by empowering these musicians through mentorship, tailored instruction, and paid musical employment.

Your support is key in giving these musicians the recognition they deserve.

For musicians with disabilities, the journey is particularly transformative. Many have spent over 20 years practicing in isolation, with limited opportunities in the mainstream industry. PTP is more than just a program—it’s a movement for inclusion and career-building in music.

I don't need to explain the richness that music brings to us as musicians, but for people with disabilities, who often have fewer entry points into the mainstream world, its impact can be even more profound.

If you are able to offer performance opportunities to showcase our musicians, contribute financially, or host a fundraiser to support their mission, you will be making a meaningful difference.
