Chris Anderson
Bass & Songwriting Instructor
Chris Anderson is a world-touring electric and upright bassist with over 50 album credits across jazz and popular music. A graduate of the Hartt School and SUNY Purchase, he’s performed with artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Rachel Platten, and Postmodern Jukebox, and co-leads the nationally touring project Whiskey Heart. As a longtime Lagond educator, Chris brings deep industry experience and a passion for preparing students to perform, write, and succeed in the real world.
Jason Robins
Bass Instructor
Jason Robins is a professional upright and electric bassist from Westchester and an alum of Lagond Music School. A seasoned performer, he’s toured nationally with Alex Cano, opened for the Plain White T’s, and played iconic venues like The Bitter End and SXSW. With roots in jazz, funk, rock, and Americana, Jason brings real-world experience and energy to every bass lesson.
